How do I return a book?

To return a book, you can simply take it to any one of our eight libraries and use a returns machine.

In the Arts and Social Sciences Library, we have a dedicated book return machine that can be found to the right of the entrance and Welcome desk. To return a book, simply feed it through the machine slot and it will be taken off your account.

For any of our other libraries, this will be the same kind of library self-service kiosk that you used to borrow the book. Simply click 'Return' on the machine and pop it in the box next to it once it's been removed from your account.
