Why can't I access an e-resource when it says we have access?

Firstly, we recommend you access all content via Library Search and the Library website:

http://www.bris.ac.uk/library/

You will be accessing content via EZproxy, our main authentication system. You will then authenticate as a UoB user the first time you click on an e-resource link and will have seamless access to e-resource content within our subscriptions after that. If you do go directly to the publisher's site via Google and have problems signing in via Shibboleth/ institutional sign-on, we recommended that you change browsers. Chrome and Firefox work best, and there are often issues with Safari. Clearing the cache is also recommended*
