I am an International Student who returned home during the pandemic and still have books on my account - what should I do?

If you had to return home urgently due to the pandemic, and are not planning to return to the UK before graduating (and therefore can't return books due to international postage costs), we'll agree to write them off.

Email us details at library-enquiries@bristol.ac.uk and the Library Supervisor team will arrange taking these books off of your account at a later date. Please ignore any automatic emails our Library Management system sends saying you need to return this book or that you will be invoiced - unfortunately we cannot turn these off but can reassure you no further action will be taken once you have let us know your situation.

If you are returning to the UK before graduation then returns can be made in person at any of our libraries, or if you are returning to a different part of the UK you can use our free UK-only postal returns service here:  www.bristol.ac.uk/library/use/postal-returns/
