Can you post books to my home address?

Yes - if you are not able to visit campus and based in the UK, we can send you books that are not available electronically via our postal loans service. There is no charge for the service as the cost of posting items to you will be met by the Library.

You can request up to five items using the form on this webpage: www.bristol.ac.uk/library/use/postal-loan-service/

We aim to dispatch postal loans within one week of receiving your request. This may vary depending on demand and requests will be processed in chronological order of receipt. This is a new service and request levels will be monitored; we may need to temporarily suspend taking requests at short notice if demand is high to prevent lengthy waits for fulfilment.

Please see for our free postal return service too: www.bristol.ac.uk/library/use/postal-returns/

Postal services in some areas of the UK are being severely impacted by COVID-19, and users could experience delays in the receipt of items. If your request is urgent, please specify the latest date you need the books when you make your request.
